Themed "Taking Steps to Energise Lives", Orchid Run & Ride 2019 aims to enrich lives of the less privileged whilst promoting a healthy and energised lifestyle.
Organised by the Association of Wives and Women Staff of PETRONAS (PETRONITA), the primary objective of Orchid Run is to raise funds for non-profit organisations, educating the public on diverse health issues and encourage them to lend a helping hand to those in need.
This year the event hopes to contribute RM400,000 to benefit non-profit organisations such as the Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia, the Child Development and Rehabilitation Centre of the Women and Children Hospital Kuala Lumpur, 'Tabung PPUMCare' founded by University Malaya Medical Centre and Mental Illness Awareness and Support Association Selangor (MIASA).
